T-Molding channel swollen...best solution ?

Doesn't somebody make 3/4" smooth black molding with a slightly oversized insert part for this type of situation? Coulda sworn somebody did, but I do drive a Caddy so...

Fill the slot with bondo and then re-cut it.

This is the only "proper" way to fix the issue. A "quick" fix that is easy to reverse and fix properly would be to use strips of duct-tape on the spline ... I did that for Black Widow and it worked fine.

That duct tape idea sounds fantastic! I don't like gluing it in for sure. I saw a DK machine last weekend out in the wild. Someone had replaced the t-molding with some sort of white plastic with a little line down the middle. It looked like they just caulked it on too! Crap was sticky and still oozing out from underneath. Poor thing. Even more sad was their funhouse pinball. Rudy never said a word to me. I guess he was giving me the silent treatment. In fact, the only sound out of the machine was an occasional static noise. Multiball wasn't even possible as Rudy's face was frozen in time.

If it is a decent game please don't use Gorilla glue or construction adhesive. If a new owner ever wants to change the molding for a restore or whatever you just made a hell of a mess for them.

I couldn't agree more.
