When it comes to Sys 3-7 sets, what is the identifier for sys 6? I need a set of working boards (CPU and driver board). We have plenty of untested boards at work that I might be able to cobble together, assuming they'll be Sys 6. I can get ROMs burned for the game I need, and check jumper settings. Considering the pinrepair page is no longer available...

Or if someone has a good price on a working set, let me know...

6 ROM sockets on the bottom left, battery holder on the bottom right.

revision number is also screened into the board at the bottom right too. Ends in -6 or -6A

Here's some photos of a -6A from a Firepower. All other System 6 boards will have only 3 ROM chips in there, only Firepower used all 6 slots. (I did convert mine to take a lithium coin cell instead of the 3x AA's. Same location though)

Okay, I have the cpu I need. Is the driver brd specific to system 6? Or are all the 3-7 drivers the same?

Thanks. I grabbed a few from work. Hopefully they're not all 7's...

Very minor difference, and will function. System 7 board into a system 6 is no big deal.

If you put a system 7 board into a system 3.... might start getting phantom switch hits. The only difference, really, is the value of some switch matrix resistors.
