I'm hoping someone can help me with this display issue "saga" I'm stuck in. This is a System 11c game, with Left and Right 16 digit displays.
First, the HV in the game was dead and fried, and after trying to fix that circuit, and then not ever knowing if the HV was the issue or if the glass displays were shorted, I just gave up and bought Rottendog LEDs and forgot about the High Voltage altogether.
I was thinking "Ok, now I just plug it all in and I'm done with this." But, that hasn't been the case. The Left side works great, but the Right side has issues with the top digit and upper right digit. As you can see on the pictures, for example, the Left side is displaying 1s, while the right is displaying part of a 1, and even a 7 in the middle. The upper right digit/segment will work, but only some of the time, and usually to make a 5 into a 9 when it's not supposed to.
I've replaced the BCD connector to the Right display and I've replaced SCR7, 8 & 9.
What do you all think? Could this be another connector, one of the other SCRs on the main board, or did I get a defective display?
