Anybody put a lock on the back on the monitor area on a system 1 cab? i dont like the fact that it screws in now. i'd like to put a lock instead, has anybody done it? what are the measurements?

Mine screws in also. A lock is a good idea; however, I am not sure if it would work because I do not think there is anything that holds the bottom of the monitor access panel in place. Most cabinet back doors that lift out have a tongue and groove joint at the bottom of the door and a lock on top so it will not slip out of place. I think the access panel just rests on the monitor shelf and would slide out if you just put a lock at the top.

That's how the monitor access panel in my Sys2 - Super Sprint is also. You could fix it by just attaching a little wood block to the panel on the side opposite the lock, and stop blocks inside the access hole on the sides adjacent the lock.

That said, since there is no money in it, I don't see someone taking the time to remove the screws in the access panel just to get to the neckboard.
