Does anyone know if there is a difference in the sync signals from the MV-4F board and the other single slot MVS boards?
I have recently picked up a Sega Astro City cab with a tri-sync monitor and it has a wierd issue with only my MV-4F board : The picture rolls unless I verrry carefully adjust the vertical hold pot. In fact, I can get the rolling to stop but I have to time it right to get it to stop with the picture centered. If I adjust the vertical height at all, the picture will start rolling again, or if I turn the cab off and back on I will have to readjust it to get the center position correct.
I had a single slot that had no trouble in the cab, and all ~45 other boards I have tried in the cab have had perfect sync.
Edit : I also have a little JAMMA test rig that uses a Sony PS-ONE screen for a display. It has the same rolling issue with the 4-slot (with no way to adjust it) but worked perfectly with the single slot.
Thanks for any advice you guys have.
