Just got done putting a cab together.

Game was previously working flawlessly, prior to me doing any work to it. I replaced the jamma harness with a new one. capped the monitor.

I went to test the game out today and I am getting vertical blue lines scrolling. The pictures don't show it as well as I can see it live.

I did not change how the sync was connected. I simply connected the color wires from the harness to the corresponding colors and sync to sync. It's a k4900.

I did test another known working jamma board, and it came up the same way with blue lines.

Ok, it was as I expected.

I used these cheap-ass butt connectors to connect the wires. I tore those off, and put some really solid connectors on. That way I would know the wires had continuity.

No sweat now. Perfect.

I just wanted to note that even if you dont adjust anything that alot of times you need to go through all the adjustments after a cap kit. The reason for this is the monitor was previously adjusted with caps that are off spec. Not to mention the pots are bound to get bumped while moving the chassis around during the capping process.
