So as some of you know I had been having trouble with a 33" monitor. Yesterday I ended up buying another arcade game, trophy hunting moose and bear, and I'm happy to say it works flawlessly!

So I took my Johnny nero board and hooked it up to this monitor And I can't get it to sync. I feel like I have everything right but maybe I overlooked something. I'm posting pictures to let everyone see.

Could there be something wrong with this board? This isn't what it did on my other monitor but I know this monitor works perfect and isn't with this board. Do you have to drastically adjust h-hold with a PCB swap (I haven't touched it since it was perfect on the other board)

Cable order I have for monitor hookup is

Red
Green
Blue
Video ground

Composite sync
Composite sync (these are tied together)

I've also tried putting it to positive sync, but JNAH is supposed to be negative according to the manual.

New monitor is a k7400 wgm2574

on johnny nero action hero according to klov the resolution can be changed

Monitor resolution can be chosen by Dip Switch 6 of Switch Bank 1:

OFF - Standard Resolution
ON - Medium Resolution

Yep had it switched for standard. But did also try medium with worse results.

So I decided to just mess with h-hold (which is not on the remote board)

And voila it works just fine.

The bad part is you have to open up this cabinet and adjust all monitor settings every time you want to switch games... guess that leaves a jamma switcher out of the question here. Such a bummer.

well no, sadly the other monitor just keeps blowing HOT now. I'm assuming I put in the wrong resistor somewhere since I know the caps were right. And I just don't think I'm gonna mess with it anymore. Find someone who wants to mess with it and give it to them lol

i would send it out to Paul400 on here. he has quick turn around.
