I bought a Nintendo header-style harness to edge adapter card. Having trouble.
My DK has a switching PSU which has double power cables coming out of its terminals. In other words, my DK board (2-board type) has no rainbow cable and each power cable connects to each board.
When I plug all the little harnesses into the adapter board, there is of course only one connector for power. When I connect one side of the power and leave the other unconnected, seat the card to the edge connector and install a rainbow cable, turning on Kong makes the screen go funny (sort of wavy) and the sound makes a much louder hum than usual.
What do you think is going on? Is the best practice to remove one side of the power cable so that only one remains?
Thanks for any tips.
