what chassis is this???
i have no power comming out of flyback to monitor?
DSC02728.jpg

when i got this board...yellow was not solderd so i fixed, blue is added what looks like to me resisitors, white is cut traces, and purple was jumper wires.
i took off jumper wires and fixed the traces.
Im new at this so i thought i was on the right track!
will a new flyback work or i have many other probs?
the fuse is good.
WHEN POWERD UP I HEAR A TICKING NOISE!

The top jumper is ok,but not needed.
The bottom jumper is wrong!
There should'nt be any direct connection to the
hot and cold side of chassis.
I read you removed it...

Hook your DVM Black lead to the large heatsink in picture
the other lead to the
center pin of HOT circled in the picture, should read high in ohms??
If low ohm, remove the HOT,plugin set in, measure the center pin again
for any DC if the hot is shorted it will kill the B+ to HOT.

If you remove the horiz-output transistor you just won't get any high voltage
you can still get all your powersupply voltages up,if smps is working.

If no dc to HOT then check for any secondary voltages coming out the
smps at the cathodes of the fat diodes in the powersuppy, can be seen in picture.
If your going to troubleshoot the monitor then try these test.
