I have a machine with a bad monitor (100v), and a bad power supply. along with putting in a new ps, any problem with putting in a 120v monitor as long as I replace the iso trans with a 120v model?

You probably don't need to change the iso. Most arcade monitors are able to take arrange of power from about 80v -130v IIRC. Find the manual for your replacement monitor and see what it says about power requirements. If you are replacing a Sanyo in a Nintendo game, realize that the monitor is a 20" and 19" monitors can look cheesy if you don't fit them just right. What game is it? You might be able to find somebody to sell you a replacement chassis as well. Is the chassis bad or the monitor for sure?

it is a zaxxon Im messing with, I was wrong. the schematics showed 120v going to the light and fan, and 100v going to the monitor, but the iso is putting out 120, sooo

My Zaxxon had a monitor in it that was a 100vac model. It was tapped off of a 100v line on the iso. If your iso tap is already 120vac then you should be good to go...
