I was in contact with orion3311 in regards to swapping a tueb on a machine of mine. I was able to get a donor tube that is listed as a Drop in replacement for my broken tube. Unfortunaly i don't know what exact he meant by drop in. Can anyone help me? When i talked to orion he said he had alot going on so that's why I haven;t heard back from him. So can anyone help me out?

If it says drop in replacement that should mean that you can use the yoke that was installed on the tv tube. So just replace the tube and keep the tv's yoke and hook it up to your chassis. Should work fine.

do i use the tv's neck board or do i have to use the arcade's neck board? i am really in the green when it comes to this stuff.

You need to transfer the TV tube and yoke to the arcade chassis. Then you can just plug in the degauss coil, DAG ground, neck board, and yoke wires to the pre-existing monitor chassis and power it up. Fine tuning with the pots will be necessary after the swap.
