I have a Megatouch Titanium at the house. I also have a Megatouch Maxx Jade Edition I believe that i just got. I would like to swap the boards if possible. How hard would it be to do? They cabs pretty much are the same shape.

I want to swap since the Titanium cab actually has Maxx decals on it, plus the touchscreen seems to be a little more accurate on the Titanium game currently.

The only problem I can possibly foresee is if the power supply plugs are different, other than that you should be good to go.

I would think thats an easy swap since the boards are simliar. Where you run into probs is taking a CGA megatouch and trying to put a VGA guts in - still not impossible if you have the parts already but the touch monitors are usually the prohibitive part.

I might attempt swapping it this weekend. I dont really need to swap monitors, chassis, or the controller I think. Just the game boards and hard drive. Power supply possibly. I am just wondering if most of the connections are the same.

Actually I figured out an easier way. I didnt know the top part of the shell on a megatouch slid off. Since they were the same size cabs and same designs, I just undid both tops and swapped them.

I was able to figure out the default 6 star code on the Maxx game to get into the adjustments. Touchscreen seems more accurate.

I couldnt use the buttons behind the coin door to get into settings. They dont work. Not sure if they were disconnected or what. But the 6 star feature allowed me to adjust the volume and calibrate the monitor.

I think they are not plugged in. I think I know which plug they are in, and it wont reach with the way they have the board mounted. But since its on free play, I shouldnt need the settings to much if I can get to the calibrations through 6 star
