Assuming that I wanted to keep all the other coin door wiring intact and tidy, and not destroy anything in the process, is it possible to unwire a coin counter in a Nintendo cab (for the purpose of swapping it with another) without having to undo the entire coin door harness?
Overall, the situation is:
First you have those two black wires coming out of the counter. There is no microswitch-like detachable terminator at the counter-end:
(Or *can* these black wires be pulled out from the counter in some way?)
Those black wires run into that "joiner" where they "become" red and brown wires, which then go out to the PCB:
Can I pull the black wires out of there somehow?
In other words, is the only detachable connection for the coin counter at the PCB end?
Not a wiring expert, obviously.
