I should have originally posted this here I think...

BUT, I'm not sure if this is a monitor issue or a board adjustment.

As an example...In ESB, the picture of Darth vaders helmet...His mouth (which is made up of about 7 vertical lines). All of those lines seem 'shifted' to the right so they dont line up perfectly to where the mouth is supposed to be.

I have the WG monitor but am not sure if I should mess with the rings on the monitor neck or if I should try adjusting on the board itsself...

Try adjusting the x and y on the board that should do it

Thanks...If I could get it to 'pause' on that one picture then I could try to work on it...Whenever I tweak those pots I fix one thing and mess up another!!!

You need to put the game in test mode and cycle thru the options with the triggers. Make your monitor adjustments on the proper screens using the pots on the vector board on the 3 board stack. Use your bips to get the lines converged. Once you have that done, it is time to mess with the convergence rings on the neck. ALWAYS make a straight line across the rings so that you know where you started so that you can always go back. Find the information in the manual about how to converge the tube. Don't just go in there willy nilly and htink you can do it. If you follow the instructions, you should get a pretty good picture. If the rings have not been messed with from the factory, I find that just a little movement is all you need to fix it.

Google for the manuals BEFORE you get started and read before you get started. It is time well spent and you will love your picture after you make the adjustments.

There are 3 manuals you need if I recall. The SW manual, the schematics manual with all the monitor info and the WG manual.
