I want to get a fan on the AR board in my SW, along with a couple small 12v fans like this guy did:

Where do you guys get your 110v fans? I'm hoping for quiet ones. Any thoughts on where these small 12v things came from?

I was also thinking it would be good to exhaust out the top of the cab...I can't leave the back door off; too many cats and children running around.

...maybe installing a window unit air conditioner would be faster.

Old computers are a great place to get small 12v fans, they generally used 3" & 4" fans on the case and you can find 2" & 2 1/2" fans on the heat sinks on the processors.

Those last two posts answered my question. Thanks guys. I ordered 2 small 12v fans for the HV cage off eBay, and will scrounge some old computer fans for the AR2 and to vent out the top. Perfect.

Thanks!

When I need a 120mm 120vac fan, I use

When that's overkill, I use this 92mm 120vac fan:

Not whisper quiet at 40db, but very unobtrusive.

When I add internal cooling fans inside a cabinet (for monitors or pcbs), I typically go 12vdc and use this 80mm fan:

At 21db, you can scarcely tell that it's on.
