[COMPLETE] Survival 2 laserdisk progress thread..
(Update 1/23/2010) Game is officially released and is for sale on my website www.gamecadeproduction.com. Use coupon code 'lucky' at the final stage of checkout and you can pick the game up for just $4.99. I appreciate any and all support that has been given. I enjoyed this project so much that plans to continue making more are in the works. Thanks everyone!!
(Update 10-10-11)
- Added second promo shot.. My favorite scene so far.
(Update 10-8-11)
- Shot some more scenes and still have more to shoot.
(Update 10-6-11)
-Scenes were shot this past weekend. Project is moving into post production. We shot alot of footage in a short amount of time. I've been pouring over it this week. It looks really good for such a cram session. Just don't expect oscar type material. The actress Jenny did great and is very easy on the eyes.
-Posted a little teaser promo photo as well. (scroll down post) The photo is a video still shot from an actual scene that will be in the game.
Changes for the Upcoming Survival 2 Get Lucky:
Faster scenes with left, right, up, down selection choices on the fly. Much more true to an actual laserdisk FMV type game. No more pause and make a choice stuff. Choose correctly or fail! AKA Dragons Lair Style. Scenes will be faster. 3 Lives per play, A scoring system and a bonus game to be earned. I am planning 2 separate builds. Build one will be stand alone for your computer. Build two will be optimized for mame arcade cabinets. (Insert Coin screens etc.. and will need credits to start and so forth). It will also be longer than the first as it was very short.
Story is short and simple.. You come home with Jenny from a date.. You gotta work your way into her apartment, then into her bedroom. Leisure Suit Larry style.. It's comedy based with pitfalls along the way. Jenny who is a really sexy mid 20's girl is game for anything. I was worried when we did a script read but she said nothing was out of her comfort zone and would be willing to do more. She is a runway model and did wonderful in the filming process. Oh yeah, and Josh did what he needed to do as well.. lol
