is a taito superman kit rare?

i have aquired a superman in a nintendo(DK) cab and trying to decide if i wanna sell the kit and convert back to DK or leave it cause i just never see superman! i never even played it, is it a good game or lame game?

any thoughts???

I had a superman converted donkey kong once. I converted it back to donkey kong though. It's not a great a game... just an average side scroller.

Kill it with fire.

Superman/ Batman were probably the worst Superhero arcade games. The music makes the game, but it gets old by the second level.

Superman is not that good. If I were you and had the parts I'd put it back to Donkey Kong because it's a much better game.

Edit: yes I think it is rare...but bad and rare don't equal $$$

I like the graphics and its cool for about 5 minutes and then gets boring fast. Its one of the only games I have that my GF likes so it stays in my collection. Plus it is two player so I can count that as quality time we spend together if she gets on my case :)

thanks again and speaking of, anyone wanna buy the kit? MMAO

Superman is not all that bad. I have the pcb and play it sometimes in my jamma rig. I actually kind of like it but batman is awful

It's probably the best Superman game ever made, but that's not saying a lot. I never understood the grey 2nd player guy when I was a kid, my friends and I always called him 'confederate Superman.' I like it for the nostalgia factor but it's a pretty unremarkable game overall.

Also, why does he shoot energy blasts from his hands, and not say... his eyes ? Pretty game, fairly poor gameplay, but as a HUGE Superman fan I had to get one. The board mostly sits on a shelf, but every so often it does get rotated into a Jamma rig, and most people agree "Yeah, it's just as bad as I remember it..."
