It was a pretty good auction. Stuff did seem to be going really cheap. A lot cheaper than the last belleville, that's for sure.
I got the batman forever, and it was like new. Rob said it was HUO, and owned by a "celebrity"! And we know that Rob would not say anything if he didn't know it was absolutely true. I wonder if Rob was the "celebrity" who owned it? But anyway, I agree, it's probably one of the nicest condition games I've ever gotten - literally like new out of the box. I was afraid to touch it because I always seem to gouge and nick up all my games due to carelessness.
Also some super clean un-exciting games, like a Max Force (Duo) that was nicer than the one I bought new BITD. There was the nicest GT I've ever seen, but it went too high for me. I did get the Armor Attack, but let some other guys get the other oldies. Well, I did get the Space Encounters - I am out of them so I needed it.
I think the shocker of the day was the Battlezone that sold for $500. I don't want to upset the buyer if he's on here (don't know who got it), but let's just say it was a shocking price for what appeared to be a water-damaged, beat up, non-working BZ.
I ended up buying the Police 911-2 in the back after the auction. Had never seen one, but after playing it, I have to say it's pretty cool?!?!
Can't wait for the next one!
