Superauction returns st louis who will be there

I will be there for sure. I'll actually have money to buy something at this, but that means there won't be a single thing that interests me. Mainly looking for another pin.

sa

what i hear is they STILL dont pay consignors
they pay what they can, month by month lol

Yea bump to see if they paid lolz. Poor superauctions (or not so poor). Can't say it's been an interesting last 15+ years going to those.

I'm coming - wouldn't miss one of these shows for the world. Always entertaining. Hope Rob finds some stuff to bring. When I talked to him this week, he said he still hadn't secured any big loads of stuff to bring himself (which I think is what usually motivates him to have an auction). fingers crossed.

I am going. It is only like 15 minutes away from my house. Totally broke at the moment, but maybe I can haul off some dead games for almost nothing.

If you wanted 1995 and newer stuff for really cheap then this was a really good auction.

If you wanted classics or pins then it wasn't.

There were few classics and the ones that were there were obscure ones.

A pair of Asteroids Deluxe cocktails (one working one not working)
Centipede with garbage on the screen
Space Encounters with problems (really wanted this but John Yates wanted it more, at least I think it was John who bought it)
Battlezone with the cord locked inside
Rip Off (dead and very water damaged I think billybob took this one for $75)
Armor Attack was working earlier in the evening but was down by bid time. Lower part of cabinet pretty rough. I think John Yates got this one too.
Exidy Crash, game coined up, wouldn't start, showed the game on screen, monitor was scrolling. I think Troy got this at around $200.
Gremlin Head On. I got it for $25. marquee was lit up but that was it. Decent shape, excellent sideart.

I believe those were all the classics there.

Other items of note.

Super clean Batman Forever sold for $400ish. One of the nicest games I have ever seen.
Dedicated Samurai Showdown II neo geo unit sold dead under $100.
Golden Tees, buck hunter, bowling, most gun 25" gun titles and similar are really tanking in value now. I picked up a clean Shuffleshot 25" for $50.
900 in 1 Xbox based unit (Rob's) only brought like $200.

Someone got 15ish boxes loaded with Cherry Master boards for $50 total (like 25 cents a board).

It was a pretty good auction. Stuff did seem to be going really cheap. A lot cheaper than the last belleville, that's for sure.

I got the batman forever, and it was like new. Rob said it was HUO, and owned by a "celebrity"! And we know that Rob would not say anything if he didn't know it was absolutely true. I wonder if Rob was the "celebrity" who owned it? But anyway, I agree, it's probably one of the nicest condition games I've ever gotten - literally like new out of the box. I was afraid to touch it because I always seem to gouge and nick up all my games due to carelessness.

Also some super clean un-exciting games, like a Max Force (Duo) that was nicer than the one I bought new BITD. There was the nicest GT I've ever seen, but it went too high for me. I did get the Armor Attack, but let some other guys get the other oldies. Well, I did get the Space Encounters - I am out of them so I needed it.

I think the shocker of the day was the Battlezone that sold for $500. I don't want to upset the buyer if he's on here (don't know who got it), but let's just say it was a shocking price for what appeared to be a water-damaged, beat up, non-working BZ.

I ended up buying the Police 911-2 in the back after the auction. Had never seen one, but after playing it, I have to say it's pretty cool?!?!

Can't wait for the next one!

If anyone wants to make offers on any of these games go ahead. DO NOT go by the prices listed. If your interested I will get pictures of the actual machines. No offer will get a dickish response from me but please dont offer $1.

My boss likes to get every last penny out of things but I have been given the go ahead to get rid of them at whatever price I think is fair and he will be fine with it.

The blastoids is really nice. I also have 2 Top Gun Challenge Dart machines that are in decent shape.
