Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Where are you located? I'm in the Chicagoland area, and I had a tough time not getting a turbo when trying to find my CE. I run across Turbo very often around here (of course now that I have said that, I will never see one again), maybe its a region thing?

Are you sure you mean CPS2 Super Turbo and not CPS1 Hyper Fighting (sometimes referred to as "Turbo"). If you do have a blue/green ST available, shit...I'd be interested if the price is right.

Speaking of, I'm amazed at how some seasons Rainbow Edition seems to outnumber legit CE's by like...a billion to one.

Yeah the arcade Super Turbo.
Hyper Fighting was only refered to as "turbo" in the SNES version.

Appreciated and although you are mostly correct (Japanese version is titled "Dash Turbo"...I've also run into a lot of people who thought the game was titled turbo from the SNES game AND the marquee, which has the word "turbo" in it), I am asking *him* what he meant by "turbo". I find it odd that he would bump into a ton of CPS2 ST's searching for a CPS1 CE and thought he might have been mistaking the two...he wouldn't be the first at KLOV to do it (and no shame...not everyone is into this enough to care).

It's listed as a HF and a Turbo HF here.

I dropped out of the scene a little after HF and didn't get back on for a long time when someone taught me the frames of Super Turbo. There's a hole in my arcade memories where HF Turbo should be....

Oh thats right. I forgot one big important thing.
JAPAN.
Japan called its Super Street Fighter 2 X.
America replaced the X with Turbo, but the accepted name (america) has been Super Turbo.
