Im picking up a Championship Sprint tomorrow (atleast I think it is because it has two steering wheels not 3)

I have played SS in the wild but never CS. Is there much difference between the two games. Cant really tell from the few pics I have seen of CS.

Who makes replacements for the steering wheels on these? The one I am getting has one bad wheel.

I think there are some track differences. I Have a CS, but haven't played SS in years.

Not sure on repro wheels, but check with Mylstar, he may have something... He's got lots of NOS atari parts.

both great games that are pretty much the same. Main difference really is the three players vs two. i actually like Champ sprint better because it takes up less space. As for the steering wheel, what is the issue with it? is it not working or is the wheel physically damaged? Depending on what you need there may be different places to look.

Champ Sprint also gives you rhe option of 'faster chopper' as a wrench upgrade where Super Sprint didn't. Also, Champ Sprint gives wrench bonuses for fastest lap/completions where I don't think SS did? Love both games and I miss my CS.

Championship doesn't have the track with the big ramp in the middle that you have to jump over, but it does have the fast chopper upgrade and rewards the "record lap time" with a wrench, as stated earlier. I had a CS, regretted selling it, and now have a SS and am pretty happy about it. Both are crowd-pleasers when people are over. I've read that there's a bonus track you can earn if you play long enough, but I've yet to see that myself.

yeah they both kick ass. I"d lean towards the SS just for the 3 player action.

I prefer SS.

I remember and am almost certain that CS is more difficult when playing solo vs the computer. I could play 15 minutes or so vs the computer on SS... but only 5 minutes or so on CS.

Do these games have difficulty settings?
