Posted in general section, figuring it might be the wrong section. I am a newbie to the hobby. Purchased a super sprint. It works very well. Thanks to a previous post I am able to rebuild one steering wheel and foot pedals as necessary.

I have a problem with the left speaker. It is ot working. Speaker tests good. Wiring to the board tests good. POT's do not even give a crackle and they look new so I am leading to believe they are good.

Where do I test nest? Would really like to have stereo sound piped through my sounds system at the house to make it a cool experience.

Please consider me completely ignorant about the diasgnostic and trouble shooting process of these machines.

I am able to follow directions, and understand much of the lingo, however I know enough to make me dangerous and that is about it.

Is this a possbile repair item, or should I be looking for a new board? If it is repair, can someone provide some instruction as to what to test.

there is a small board with the volume pot on it, that the speaker wires plug into. That is the Audio II board. It has two large black heat sinks on it, and each one has an audio amp attached to it. Most likely one of those is bad.
