I've sent an email to Steve at PBR - I'm recovering a Chicago Coin Super Score from 1946. The tough part (getting the backglass redone) is done, and it's starting to come back together. I'm pulling all the corroded tin, polishing it, and waxing it to preserve it to some extent. Well, all the tin that touches the ball at least.

I'm hoping Steve and PBR can put together a Rubber Ring Kit. This think has Bumpers (Not Bumper-Thumpers) with what I think is an 1 1/4" ring around the middle for rebounds.

Also, the ball shooter tip is an odd duck - it's smaller than usual. I tried one of the ones I have in stock, and it fell off.

Finally, the rebound bumper isn't a spring like most modern games - it's a rubber ring unlike any I have in stock. It's 7/8" wide, with an ID of 7/16" and it's 1/4" thick.

Does anyone know of sources for these parts?

The ball shooter end disintegrated on removal. It was a mess.

The rebound bumper I found on eBay for $9 - I'm using a 1/4" thick piece of rubber that is 7/8" diameter and has an ID of 5/16 which should work.

I did hear from PBR - they said the ball shooter tip is not available and to use a regular one with electrical tape to make up the space, so I'll go that way.

For the shooter tip do what I did: use a black sleeve rubber from a late 80s to early 90's Williams pinball. Just cut it to the length you need with a razor blade. Slip it onto the old shooter rod. Now it's a spacer to be able to slide on a modern shooter tip. Also, you can use a piece of automotive fuel line or windshield washer vinyl tubing to perform the same function.

Thanks. I'll try that approach.
