I am not sure if this is midway. I know my photos are not clear enough. I was told this is possible a midway but converted to Super Qix.

I wanted this cocktail into I-Cade. I have all harness/board/buttons/joystick ready.

My question here is..

Control Panel. I had researched and it seems too Slim to install a buttons. Mine is more likely Jamma fighter button.

Wondered if someone has thinner button where I can drill and adding 3 more buttons to enable all 60 in 1 becoming playable?

On 2nd thoughs. Should I replace CP? If so... where can i find them? My fund is low since I had a Fresno Run yesterday but wanted to prepare thos.

low profile buttons is what I need (hoping so). I would need 6 buttons. Any color is fine 2 set of color only.

icade only needs 3 buttons max, there might be one game that might need 4 (not sure on that one) just move the joystick to the side of the cp,drill 3 holes each player and thats that,i would think it would fit ok.

these cabs are hard to come by here in uk as everyone has gone and jamma or mamed the majority of them,so me i would say convert it to a dedicated that uses the same cocktail.i am lucky enough to own a si deluxe cocktail and am keeping it that way,i am having the boards fixed as i speak and i have to replace the art with an underlay as the paint was crackled too much and i need to get hold of a monitor bezel and its still on usa power.so i aint planning on joining the jammatisers or the mame freaks.bog standard common cabs are candidates for that, not rare cocktails.

each to their own.

That s what i though. I was not sure if my regular buttons will fit since my CP is kinda low profile but i will remove that joystick and give a try to see if it fits allright.. If so.. I M GONNA DRILL IT !!!!!!! then add some nice bezel overlay later.

If anyone who interested Super QIX pcb.. please lmk and i will sell it for a right price thanks.

i would have thought if you want to splash out (if you feel that way) you can pick up custom made cps off ebay for cocktail that will have holes pre drilled etc.
:)

I may be wrong. Possibly thinking of the wrong board but I though there was only one game on the icade board that could even use 3 buttons. If I'm thinking of the correct board this game is also made so it can be played with only two buttons. I don't think you need 3 buttons. I believe only two are necessary. I've seen plenty of 60 in ones in that style cab so I'm sure the buttons will fit on that cp. For what it's worth there are options for buttons. Some are a bit long but there are short ones that will fit fine on that cp.

BTW arcadeshop.com sells the cp's for both the pac man and ms pac man style cocktail cabs. I believe they are $45 and are simply the correct size powder coated panel with 1 hole for a joystick and two for buttons.
