Guys bear with me this is my first attempt at a totally dead board. These blue squares is all i get. If i push the reset switch i will get garbage on screen for 1 second then back to this. This board is curently on my bench with good voltage 5.10 checked in both boards. Roms have been pulled ,cleaned and checked against mame roms. The primary processor seems to be working ok but the second reset pin is stuck low. Rom 3f at the video board has a bunch of dead pins in it but i assume its because the second processor is not working. Im totally new at this and any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks, Luis

no i have a second non working board set which does something similar heres a pic of it. The diffrence is when i hit the reset switch this one does nothing. Ive changed that custom chip on both locations and both boards and no chance to any of them.

I started moving the customs around from both main boards and then both boards ended up looking like the picture in my previous post and the first one no longer reset and both processor resets were low. I pushed down on cpu 1 and game started. Im not sure what did it but i do know now that both video boards are working. cpu 1 on the non working board had a very corroded pin and just broke off so ill have to order it before i can start switching stuff from the working board to the non working to try and see if one of the customs is bad back cause i dont want to be switching cpus back and forth. As of now on the working board on one ghost i only see its eyes and the apples are missing from playfield. Im thinking ram but i guess ill get into it tommorow. if anybody has any other ideas im open to suggestions.

Game is now working. I used an old monitor cable that was long to be able to split the boards on my bench and it must of been wired wrong .I connected the video board threw my jamma adapter and got my reds back.

i just came across this old thread and realized i never specified with custom was bad. It was a bad 0774 custom at IN

For refrence, the last two digits on the customs dont matter. In other words, and 07XX will work. This is handy to know when looking for replacments.
