This has been at Michiana Antique Mall for a few years. Asking price is $4,800. Looks to be in pretty great shape on the outside. Has a back door, not sure about lock/key/manual or innards. Monitor seems to be original.

I spoke to one of the owners and said the price was a little high, which is likely why it's still sitting there. :) His advice was to call the booth owner and try to negotiate.

If you're a Super-Pac Fan, this could be the big one!

MAM is close to South Bend and U of Notre Dame, right off of interstate 80/90.

Its a pretty machine... but 4,800?!?!?! That's waaay too much for a UNRESTORED super pac. You could get two fully restored games for that much!

what a joke. super pac isn't worth more than $1,000 tops. even at that, i'd pay $500-600 max.
I told the owner that the seller would be lucky to get $1200 for it.

And it doesn't even come with the pink Christmas stocking OR the cheap painting!! Oh, wait...he's asking $500 for that painting. My mistake. :)

That's a joke, right?

Don't get me wrong, it IS in pretty nice condition.... but if that machine is fetching $1200, I'll be happy to sell mine for $800.

Hey, I *LOVE* the game, but I wouldn't pay more than $500 for one in near mint condition. Hell, I only paid $200 for the one I have, and it wasn't THAT long ago!

Well, I meant that he'd be REALLY lucky to get $1200 for it! You never know...there could be a big Super Pac fan out there who would pay more than you or I would.

The plot thickens...

The booth owner/seller left a message on my machine yesterday with some more info about the game. He says it's from an arcade in Buffalo, NY.

And the price is negotiable! Well, that's good.

I think I'll start by saying, "Okay, your price is $4,800. Now, about that 4..."

:)

HAHAHAHA!!! Love it!!

Mine isn't quite as nice in condition, but I only paid $200 for it, too... so....

Wow, $200...what a steal! I bought my first Space Invaders for $200 back in '94.

I wonder if I can get this guy down to $500 for Super Pac. Here's how that could go...

"Listen, if by $4,800 you mean $500 then I think we have a deal!"

That's the subtle approach, and I think it could really win him over. :)

A million dollars!

Seller called me this AM and we talked for a few minutes.

I said, "$4800 is really optimistic for this game." I told him the going rate is anywhere from 300 to 650, even in great shape.

His line was, it's in immaculate shape and the coin box hasn't been touched since its operating days.

"There could be a million dollars in there!"

Sounds about right for a former operator.

Wait it out. The owner will die, and you'll have better luck with their clueless children.
