SOLD! As of 6/6/12.

Hi, I'm looking to sell my Super Nintendo kiosk. I've owned it for 5-6 years, grabbed it from a local game shop that was going out of business at the time. As you can see from the photos attached it's in great shape and works 100%. Both controllers are there, attached and working. It has the original monitor which I had shopped out by a professional TV repair center.

Here's a short video I did that shows it off in better detail:

I've tried to research these to get a fair price but from what I can tell they're pretty rare. I've seen I think just two others - one had a different TV set on it and the other had the controller arms broken off.*

I usually don't do "make me an offer" kind of sales but since I've been unable to guage a general price that's what I'm going to do. If you're interested, send me a private message and make me an offer!

It's located in Western New York, about halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. Shipping really isn't an option because it's so big and I wouldn't want to risk damage via a shipper, unless you can make all arrangements.*

I'd make an offer, but moving it cross country would probably be a bad idea. Good luck! This thing looks awesome.

Sorry to post a question in your thread that doesn't have to do with an offer but they stickers say the snes will not operate without being in the display. What was special about the demo units?

If you watch the video you can see a small red and white cable that runs to the bottom of the system - it plugs in underneath and resets the system every 5 minutes. I've disconnected that and it still plays fine without resetting. I've never tried removing the system and playing it outside the kiosk but I'd bet it will work.

Not sure how anyone would get the system out back in the day anyways - it's got a lock and that metal bar holding it down.

Heh, $600 for that and it's the small display with no system in it! Also no controllers or plastic cover. That's the one that comes up for sale the most. The large one like I have rarely does according to this thread on Nintendo Age:

I've been oogling that on eBay for the last day or so and I'd love to have it; be a great fit for my retro game store. I'm in Michigan though :( Bit too much of a hike for me~ No way to break it down to smaller components?

I had the tall snes one before. Got it with bout ba real store demos snes system , controllers, arms tv etc. The bottom SHOULD come off. I was unable to get mine removed though I don't remember if I tried any hammers to start it. that foot pront made it not possible to get into my basement and hence I sold it. It went on fleabay for around $100 to a local who was opening a game store. Was a real cluster eff that buyer is a real work of art. Negged me becuz no demo system included.... sincd a system was in picture I offerred to give them the snes that was in the picture but they didn't want it since it was not a real demo system (serial numbers are diff I was told)

It does disassemble to an extent. The base comes off and the light/marquee disconnects, and the TV comes off pretty easily. It's the main, mid section I'd be afraid to ship the most.
