I mentioned this game in another thread, but it more than warrants its own - damn this game is fun. I'm only through the first two 'worlds' or whatever, and it is totally throw back to games of yore.

In my old age (late 20s - ha!), I don't have the patience for dying a million times in the same place like I did when I was a kid, but for this game I make an exception. It can be frustrating as hell, but it's more than worth it. The replay mode where you see all your attempts at once can be pretty epic sometimes

It's only $10 right now but will be going up to $15, so I'd recommend checking it out soon and promptly buying it when you realize how much win it is made out of.

I think you want to play the Dark World. It starts out easy as well, but you still have a lot to go.

"The Dark World" is part of Super Meat Boy, in case what I said wasn't clear I you "A+" a level, you can play the "Dark World" version of it, which is more difficult than the "Light World" version. Just press X on a level you have A+'d.

I've heard of them, yeah. I assume those are the ones that you get to by getting to a jacked up looking bandage girl. I've made it to one, but I don't think I completed the level.

Next time I logged in, I saw the -1 level as a gold block. I still haven't beat it and it's pissing me off Mainly because you get three tries, then have to go back to the map and wait for it to load again - LAME.

Good stuff, though

Did anyone else notice the level titled "Wiebe" (I think it's in Chapter 3)? It's got a DK feel to it, obviously

Seems "Mr. Minecraft" will be in the PC release this November, along with a map editor.

By that point, I should be done with the XBLA version (I hope) and ready to start over.

first world is 100% for me, working on number 2

Yeah, I can't get past the -1 level for ch1 yet. I think I burnt myself out on it so I'll try again another day

I'm at 109% for ch1...some people say the percentages are glitched, but I wonder if it might be that the mandatory stuff is 100%, while the bonus stuff is 100%+.

I also unlocked "Teh Internets" which is cool so far. Some fairly hard levels in there. Otherwise, I'm in ch5 someplace. Some of the warp zones are pretty good. The one where you play as the Kid from I Wanna be the Guy is a pain in the ass. I don't know that I'll ever have the patience for that one...

LOL the kid is the best character in the game, but its like impossible to get. I saw a youtube vid, the kid said he died like 500 times or something before he got it.

I havent 100% the first one, I forgot the bandages. I did A+ light and dark for world 1 and 2 though. Working on the bandages. I havent used anyone but meat boy

I've only unlocked Commander Video and Gish and haven't used CV much. Gish is pretty good on some stages because he sticks to walls better if you hold the 'run' button. But I use Meat Boy most of the time.

Man, I can't wait for it to come out on PC. I want to play this so bad, but I don't have an xbox 360
