just got a super gt twin and the power cord got severed in transport. it has little connectors on it so I'm thinking there has to be somewhere I can get a drop in replacement.

if anyone has one or knows where I can get one I would greatly appreciate it! I was so ready to play the game for at least an hour once I got the thing in my house, no such luck.

I thought it was something pretty standard, that's why I was hoping somewhere online sells the cable like that. I could make one myself I suppose but I'd rather have a professionally made cable with the connects already there.

that was easier than I thought it would be. really I got ripped off at home depot, they charge $9 for a power cable that is pre stripped, but I have probably 20 of those cables around that I'm not using for anything, I could have cut one and just use that, but then I guess the color coding might not have been so great. I'm glad the stock cabled used those disconnects, made replacing the cable pretty easy.

thanks for the help.

thanks for the quick tips modessitt, luckily DNS had the manual for the gt twin, I couldn't find it online. I have a lot to learn about this machine compared to all my other games.

Had the same problem with my Super GT

I got a power cord at home depot (with both male and male connectors), cut off the female side and spliced it into the existing wiring on the inside of the cabinet. I didn't want to mess with the crimp-like connectors. I soldered it all together and wrapped it up nicely. It's all on the inside of the strain connector, so nothing should give it a big pull.

My info about my SuperGT at my site...
