Cool... they are good games. Cant figure out why they solder lots of stuff to the boads and did not use sockets

I have a Super Cobra board you can borrow. I have almost all of the early Stern boards. If it has a Konami pinout I have it.

Just checked my board, and the Z80 is socketed! Woohoo!
And I've already replaced the board spacers with taller ones, so there shouldn't be any clearance issues.

Hi Guys, as far as discounts go I can't really make them much cheaper. Whether it's 1 or 10, the work required per board is the same. If someone is willing to take 5 boards I can drop the price another $5 per to $35. Otherwise it's $40 per board. Shipping is still $5 for USPS small flat rate box, regardless of how many you take. As long as I can still fit them into one box.

If you're no good in math here's the breakdown:

1 - $40 + $5
2 - $80 + $5
5 - $175 + $5

So, I looked at the code and it is pretty similar to scramble. I could probably finish it up this weekend if there was a demand for it.

As far as pricing for multiple kits I will leave that up to Slava since he is building and shipping them.

Still need a board to test it on though

Interest SC HS Kit

I'll commit to one SC HS Kit. Let me know your terms and timeline.

Also, I have a spare SC board set consisting of both the small and large PCB's. The small (top) board works fine, the large (bottom) does not and I have not made the time to debug the problem. I suspect it's close to workign but I've only made time to check the CPU, which is alive. If you like I can donate this board set for the HS Kit cause but it may be a waste of time if you have another source for a working set, or if it just another layer of effort to get the HS kit completed. If you simply want the set for future development I can ship them to you. Let me know...

A lot of problems with Super Cobra (and similar Stern games) are due to the EPROM connections (poor sockets). Jason's kit will take all that crap out of the equation, so it may actually resurrect some boards. If your board is having reset issues, then his kit will definitely make your game more reliable.
