Has anybody played Super Bagman? Is it fun? I have the chance to pick one up but I have never played it or even heard of it before. He says the monitor needs work.

I am a big Bagman fan but I have yet to find one. I haven't even had a chance to play it (outside of MAME) in about 5 years. Probably a Holy Grail for me.

I got to play it over at SC3 - shertz has it. I'd buy his if it were for sale. Its a tough game, but I loved it as a kid.

I played it a few times on the AS multi. I really do not understand it. Is there instructions on how the game should play?

I had a close to mint one in my first bulk buy, played it a bit, got pissed off and sold it. Should have held on to it until I found someone for whom it was more of a grail.

To me the game is very difficult. The cabinet is of much more interest to me than the game.

BagMan for sale in Murfreesboro, TN

I can help if someone is looking to buy a BagMan here in Murfreesboro, TN (Nashville). There is one for sale about 10 minutes from my house that i can go check out. Saw him asking $350 for it. Monitor looked good, no side art... but I didn't test coin door or play it.

Nice offer. Not a game I'd want to ship unless it was ultra-minty. Perhaps lowball and try to get it for yourself. Not a rare game, but a very hard game, IMHO, good for hours and hours of play.

I also play both Bagman and Super Bagman regularly on the AS multi board. I don't like either game enought to want the full cabinet, but I really do enjoy having both on my multi.

My thought has always been that this game doesn't feel like an arcade title. It doesn't have that "one quarter = 30 seconds" feel that most arcade games have those first few times you play them. Even your first game can run 5 minutes, which makes me think that it could never have been a big earner. It feels more like an old C64 game; in a good way of course.

If you have a Jamma multi, this game is another good reason to grab a AS board! (of course then there is it's price:( )

bagman rocks!

I love bagman.

All everyone talks about here is how hard it is. (bunch of wimps) The game has great characters, good sound and fun game play. I own 2 bagman PCBs and I am looking for a super bagman.

my first test rig had bagman as my PCB signal to the monitor. i love that game but its so hard it makes me VERY frustrated.

one day, i was making an adapter for a TUTANKHAM to the JAMMA harness on the test rig and i spaced out real bad, and i didnt change out the BAGMAN and i installed the adapter for the TUTANKHAM PCB onto the BAGMAN PCB. doh! ended up running +12v and +5 volts into the wrong inputs on the BAGMAN PCB. about 7 minutes later i realized my mistake and now it resets during games, and sometimes it doesnt even boot right. im so sad.
*whole screen filled with small, different, some upside down, colored blocks of colors and letters. anyone know what this could be?

**just for you real heads out there, i made a couple mistakes making the TUTANKHAM adapter so dont yell at me cause the inputs dont line up.
i mean how dumb was that? here i am installing a flawed adapter for a TUTANKHAM, onto a BAGMAN PCB !!!

:)
