Super auctions Oct. 9th St. Louis roll call

"Tipped" employees generally have a salary less than minimum wage. It's up to them to claim tips. If they still make less than minimum wage (which almost never happens) the employer has to compensate whats left.

Either way, I doubt that's happening with these guys. I'm sure they are reasonably paid if they are still around.

I'm not trying to sound cheap either, I've just never heard of tipping them.

I think they say at the start of the auction "As is where is" or something close to that. Which would lead me to believe that I have to take care of removing whatever I bought myself. I would have no problem tipping if I needed the help. Welove80's brings up a good point what is the purpose of the buyers premium?

Glennon

The Buyers premium is added to help cover their costs of the auctions.

I was coaching soccer that day and couldn't get to Belleville until 2:00. By that time the auction was over. However, I ran into Troy (MtZRcade) there and found out he picked up a complete but non-working Demo Derby, one of my most wanted games. I said a few bad words for having missed an auction that included a game I really wanted. Troy said, oh yeah, you have been wanting one of those for a while haven't you. I said yes, been looking for years, how much you want for that one. He shot me a very fair price, I handed him the cash and loaded it into my truck. Missed the whole auction but still left happy. Thanks Troy.

Mortal Kombat

Would anyone know the price ranges a Mortal Kombat video arcade machine would sell for ?

I e-mailed Greg and he mentioned maybe posting something in the forums, sorry for jackin this thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Did anyone sell games at this auction? I ask because I did and have not received payment for them yet. After the exorbitant fees, the check is for very little, but I'd still like to have it.

I had a very bad feeling when they refused to issue a check on the spot like they had in the past. Unfortunately, at that point it was too late as the games were already gone. I guess my days selling at SA are over.

I know what you are talking about, but be happy that your not a few of the operator friends of mine that are still waiting on big checks. Last year, you got a check, but it had more rubber in it than a hooker in vegas on a friday night. At least this time, they said they "forgot" the checkbook and had to mail them to you.
