I'm about 95% sure I won't make it this time. No room, no money, no time. A perfect trifecta :D.

I plan on being there. Might even have to get a couple of games for work if my plan unfolds in time. :)

This is Texas/OU weekend (which is why I won't be there - along with Ken's reasons), so it may clear out pretty early. Might be some really good deals towards the middle of the afternoon...

I'll be there late.

It's First Saturday weekend and I'll be there in the morning.

If you guys get there on a Friday night, you should go down to the sale and look around before the auction gets started.

ill be going to pickup a new pin most likely saturday

im stoked!!!!!!
Oh yeah, what are you picking up?

Wow with so many people not going this one might be the one to be at. I might just end up having to go. A buddy of mine offered up his garage so I might end up having to take him up on that offer.

For those coming in from out of town:

Listen to AM 1080 on your radio. It's Texas/OU weekend and the traffic on I-30, I-35, and other major highways/interstates will be insane.

If you are coming up from the south, I'd recommend jumping off on I-20 East to I-635 and going North up to Exit 4 for the rodeo center. I'd avoid I-30 at all costs from Downtown Dallas east towards the rodeo center as the area around Fair Park will be horrific.

If you are coming from the north on I-35, there's not a lot you can do... but you can exit onto the Pres Geo Bush Highway (actually a TOLLWAY), and go east to the North Dallas Tollway and go South to I-635 if there are bad wrecks down I-35E south of there. Again, 1080 AM is your friend for traffic reports.

If there are bad wrecks between Denton and the OK border, take US82 East to US377 South and take that down to US380 which runs between McKinney and take it East to the North Dallas Tollway which will take you down to I-635.

And... if you are already south of the OK border AND south of US82, look for the Farm to Market road (FM455???) in Sanger and take it east to US377 then east on US380 and south on the North Dallas Tollway to I-635.

If you are stuck on US75, then you can use US82 west to get to US377 south to US380 east to the North Dallas Tollway south to I-635...

Or FM121 west in Van Alstyne to go to TX289 south to TX121 south toll road to the North Dallas Tollway south to I-635.

Hope that helps you if there are bad wrecks on I-35 or US75!

Anyone know how much the Omega Race cockpit went for today?

No idea... one of the regulars got it.

I bought the 2 Ms. Pac Man boards for $25 + fees and bid on the other boxes of boards but the guy who brought them shilled it. I stopped at $30 on each box and he was saying "I'll let 'em go for 50 each... we can swap bidder #s on them"...

I said that was too rich and he said "one of those boards will sell for $100 online!" to which I replied "then sell it online..."

Really, like I'm that stupid? If it would sell for $100 online, he'd be selling it online and not bringing it to the auction.

Sigh.

Omega Race Cockpit went for 600 something I think. I played it for a little bit. Kind of annoying having the score/box in the middle and you have the go around it. But then again I have never played Omega Race except maybe on Atari 2600.

Yeah it was six something on the cockpit. Don't think he was a regular, since he told me it was his first auction.

I'm just about done with the auctions. Have not felt like bidding on anything in a while. Also tired os seeing his type of crap.

They laid this Congo Bongo lock bar with a coat hanger on it right into the side of a BattleZone. The sides of the BZ were pretty good otherwise.
