Hahaha... It's good that you clarified that, especially on this forum!

What was that Super Nintendo-looking machine?
choplifter is a pcb that very picky about its voltages. .1v off might be too much..
some nice toys there. silent scope would have been cool. 720, robotron and joust.. Nice row of candy cabinets.. dedicated samurai showdown is very rare..
That is funny!driving home to Pedro on the 110.
@Mike....Nice pick up. Choplifter is a cool game in a ded. cab especially with that cool Sega side art. Get some pics!
Man that Strider for $75 would've been loaded in my vehicle at the end of the day....
They were Aero Cities, and I'm curious as well. Didn't feel like hanging around. I'm guessing they went in the 100-200 dollar range. All with converted CPs. If I only had the room....
Curious on the EBD and High Speed pins, too, if anyone hung around. They weren't writing prices on the stickers like they used to.
All of the Aero City cabs went for about $100 - $110 with the last two going for $90 for the pair.
Good deal for them. I bid on the one with Choplifter running on it (Great Monitor), but lost to a buyers choice...
I got ripped off on a Pinball Machine as well.
One of the Pinball Machines (Disco Fever) got passed on by everyone because it did not light up at all. The head was locked so I could not see inside. After the pin section was done I asked the auctioneer if I could by it for $35.00 bucks and he agreed. I went back and started to play with the pin to see if I could see a bad fuse or something. While I was over there a guy came over and asked what I was doing. I told him I just bought the pin and wanted to look at it more closely. He told me that the pin was his and he brought it to the auction for sale. I asked him what was wrong with it and he nervously told me that he did not know and had not played with it much. It just seemed weird. I then was checking to make the sure the power cord was unplugged before playing around inside and noticed that one of the pins on the AC cord had been clipped off very recently (Very shiny). Which also was very odd. If I had a pinball machine that did not power on and one of the pins were cut on the AC cord I would replace the cord, Not sell it as is..
After seeing this I grabbed big screw driver and twisted the head lock off (Which I could not do until I bought it), and of course all of the game boards were missing.
What kind of jerk removes all of the game boards, locks the head provides no key, and then clips one of the pins from the AC cord so that you can power it up and then tells you that he has not messed with it and has no idea what is wrong with it..
Live and learn I guess.. Just sucks..

Is there a fix for that? Yes, I am dumb when it comes to this stuff![]()
LIke I said, the pcb is picky with voltages. IT might have worked at the auction since it was plugged in with another 40+ games. But take it home and plug it in by itself, and it might not like it.
Meter the power supply. If it has a 5v adjust pot, try turning it down or up in 0.01v increments. Don't go too high or low.. check from 4.8v-5.2v. There are also lots of things that could have happened with the board on the trip. reseat the chips and see if that helps.
If you get stuck, I should have a tested working pcb. I had a kit caberet choplifter and I sold it begining of the year.
