Spent the afternoon picking up this Tetris cabaret, rather then watching the Minnesota Vikings lose, though i did catch the end of it. Not sure, but upon research of this game, I didnt find any info on the cabaret game, but more info on the U/R and the cocktail styles only. So not sure if this is a home made build. It will need new coin mechs as they are incomplete, and they way that credits are added and by pushing the blue button fished thru the key hole.
Also, it has the switcher in it, so I dont think this is original. Also looks to be a jamma set up. I not too familar with those, but does that mean I can get other jamma boards and just switch them to play other jamma games?.
Either way, heres some picture!

Nice pickup, and yes, you can use this to play any # of hoizontal JAMMA games. At some point, you could add a few buttons - looks to be plenty of space on the CP.

I wouldn't call that a cabaret, though. It seems like a UR that was cut, or somewhat like those sit-down poker machines. Tetris did come in a cabaret, but it didn't look anything like that...what are the dimensons?

Looks like the dimensions are 48" on the rear height and with is 24". There is a Atari tag on both upper corners of back, but cant see much more them the word Atari, as the back is painted over. I will see later if I can clean them up to see what there were...

24" wide = that ain't no cabaret. Looks like a useful cabinet design, though.

Cool - Atari tags were occasionally placed on cabinets that didn't start as Atari, with the labels coming in the conversion kits (IIRC). Look inside and out for tags, serial #s, signs of hacking, etc. You've got some fun investigation to do, but it's one of my favorite parts of the hobby. :D

It does look like an upright game cut in half. I would be interested in seeing interior shots and the underside of the control panel. It may help identifying what it was originally. Dig dug with speaker holes in the front added?

As far as conversions go, it does look tastefully done. Neat pickup regardless.
