I'm working on a Taito Space Invaders Part II and am getting no power to the harness. upon checking the output from the transformer, I tested prior to the AC noise filter and just after it. I'm getting 118v prior to, and 16v after ... I'll assume the filter is toast. I've never replaced one before, will any noise filter work here? Here's what I currently have:

Bob Roberts has a line filter listed for $6.50. The replacement to the one that's in there is listed as high as $88.00. Is Bob's filter a suitable replacement and if not, can someone recommend a replacement part? I also assume this will not run properly without the filter, please let me know if that is incorrect.

Thanks,

tom

Bob's is fine and pretty much the same......except his is in a metal case, instead of plastic.
