I'll tell you what, this was dirt simple. I added three 555 lights to this, and it really makes a HUGE difference. Wish I had a before and after pic, as the after looks totally normal. I just don't know why they didn't add more lights to this one when they made it. I added a light to the rear right where only one was to lighten up the back. I also added one to the middle right, upper portion... as that area was so dark that when I got it, I just assumed a bulb was out there, but it wasn't. Finally, I added a spot light on the left just under the fishing pole handle (next to the reel). The spot light aims down onto the fisherman's face holding the stringer. Since I play in a dark arcade room on purpose, I wanted to lighten up the game a bit more, and boy does it look much better now.

Thinking of adding a light or two more to WCS now, just as it's so dark compared to the FT I just did. Anyone here add any lights to theirs to help see better in a darker room?

I had a WCS for quite a while and never thought it was too dark, but I don't play in a pitch black gameroom either. I like a little bit of light, too little light in the room makes it a bit harder to see the ball and play. Now my Whirlwind I thought needed more GI. But never thought that with any of my other pins.
