I got a Nintendo cab that is a wee bit wobbly. Looks like someone drive some nails in a few spots, and drove some drywall screws through the sides.

Anyone got any tips on how to strengthen these things up? I would like to restore the cabinet, but not sure if it's too far gone to fully restore, or just leave as is.

Try some 2x2 in the corners then connect them up with some more 2x2 to you have a internal box this should help.

I have a z back someone used wood screws to hold the front on and ruined the wood. I removed the panel cleaned up the sides and built a box like above glued it in place. This gave me a point also to mount the new front to without any screws.

The nice thing about ninty cabs is you can take them completely apart and fix any damage properly.
Parts can also be fabricated for pieces that can't be repaired.
