Stupid question: 1066 in 1 , 1069 in 1 kick harness
Hey all,
I will be doing some wiring work on a 1069 in 1 multi board soon. I am trying to get the jamma harness ready for the cabintet before I go to do the install to save me a lot of headache and time. Here is the question.
Does anyone know what the exact pinout for the kick harness is. Heres what I know.
Its a small white plug with 5 wires.
The colors are, yellow, brown, red, orange, and black or
black, orange, red, brown, yellow depending how you look at it.
I remember from the last time I hooked it up that the black wire is an auxillary ground wire. So my questions are:
1. Is the black wire pin 5 or pin 1 of the kick harness.
If its pin 5, I figure the kick harness is like this:
PL1____________________________________PL2
yellow1 =button5, brown2=button 6,_________red3=button 5, orange 4=button 6, blk5=gnd
If the black wire is wire 1 or pin 1, it would go like this:
PL1________________________________________PL 2
Blk1=gnd, orange 2=button 5, red3=6___________brown4=button5, yellow5=button 6
So can someone who has one of these check to see if the yellow and brown wires go with the player 1 or player 2, and if the Orange, & red ones go to the opposite. It would be nice to know for sure before I start trying to group my wire bundles.
Thanks all.
