This has bugged me since I've owned my Galaga. As this picture shows, the bezel is nice and close to the plastic shroud at the top, but about 1.25" away at the bottom, making it look like it's assembled incorrectly. The cause seems to be the monitor rails. On my Ms. Pacman, they are evenly spaced, top and bottom, giving a nice uniform gap. On the Galaga, they are further down at the front. As far as I can tell, that is where they have always been, they don't appear to have been moved.

Do I have an oddball, or is this how they all rolled out of the factory? It is a plywood cab btw.

I'm not sure I want to mess around and move them to make the gap uniform, but I'm a picky bastard, so I just might!

The brackets that hold the monitor bezel are bent. Simply take off the glass and the bezel. Bend them by hand in the direction you want and reassemble.

Mine was the same way. After much deliberation I found out that I was over thinking it.

Definately not the issue in my case. The gap I'm talking about is vertical, between the glass and plastic....I took the pic from the side to demonstrate this, that's why it looks like the plastic is off kilter horizontally.
