TRACK and FIELD
so, the Track and Field is down-
worked perfectly for 3 months- then, turned it one and bam! all N's on the screen- row after row of N's- boot screen
So far I have:
reseated ROMS
checked voltage on edge connector- reading good- 5.1 now and 12v okay (have tried cranking up to about 5.4 and no change)
edge connector seems like a snug fit overall but ...?? no burned fingers on board--- all seems in good shape on connector plastics and wiring etc-
cleaned copper fingers up but were in good shape
no sound or button function- BUT, at one point i had the edge connector halfway pushed on and it had a wavy screen and the buttons did affect the screen- kind of flashed with each button push but still no game sound-
i have not moved game or anything- it lives in my living room so no temperature issues-
southern cal house ...
what should i try next? i love playing this game and it's my newest-
**anyone in so cal have a working pcb board? sell, borrow for test?
thanks
