I finnally got around to buying some paint stripper. I have had a Root beer Tapper for about a 1-1/2 years now and it was a crapy Ataxx.

Putting the paint stripper.

After 3 Mins

After 5 Mins

Finished Cab

Now I just need to fix the board, rewire and put the CP on

That is absolutely AMAZING. I never stripped anything before and I just can't believe how wonderful the artwork looks under all that black. Absolutely amazing. What is it about the stripper that doesn't allow it to damage the original paint??

That is correct, bought it at home depot $11 for the bottle and I used about an inch out of the bottle.

That's such a good job. It looks like one of those tv commercials where they say, "Look, it removes years of grime with a wipe!"

But I know it took some serious elbow grease, having worked with strippers. (The smelly type, not the good smelling ones.)

Really an amazing result. Nice job.

Not really, damn that is amazing, I figured for sure it couldn't be saved, the cabinet was solid, but the artwork I thought for sure was FUBAR, nice job Jake - now set aside some time in your "busy" schedule to come over by my house for some games to work on.
