Stripped screws on my Robotron cp

The screws holding the joysticks in from the bottom are rusted into the t-nuts. I've already had a couple of screw tops just snap off from a simple screwdriver twist. No worries, I'll just replace the t-nuts and start fresh. My problem is these last two screws that are stripped (see pic). Dumb question probably, but is there an easy way to snap off the screw tops on these so I can get the joystick base off, and just remove the t-nuts completely?

a 1/4inch drill bit and drill on top of the head until it falls off. i have done this many times
 
Visegrips. Clamp the heads and twist them off. If you are having trouble, just go back to HomeDepot and buy a bigger set of visegrips. :D

If the assembly is out of the machine, take it to Home Depot or Leows and "test" whatever tool will cut it out.
