In attempting to exchange the shot LM323k regulator on my ICB board, the flathead screw refuses to come out. The nut on the back just spins and a wrench to steady that only causes the soft screw to strip. How the F am I going to get this out!

i like the Dremel idea. Normally i would just drill it, but that damn headsink is in the way, and ice cold beer boards don't grow on trees :). TO HOME DEPOT!

or just dremel the groove a little deeper with a cutting wheel. It might give your flathead more bite. Worse case is you dremel too far and take the head off and the screw falls out anyways.

Vampliers. I always have a pair of them handy. Work great for things like this. Nice tool to keep on hand. I highly recommend them.

Sans that, use a Dremel wheel as others have suggested to cut a slot in the screw and back it out with a slotted screwdriver.

this normally works well for me, if not then to the vicegrip/drill option.
