Yeah, those memberships are very nicely priced. The wifey and I figured if we just went there three times a year with the kids it would pay for itself.

We're going again September 25th or 26th since we have to be in Rochester anyways. A childhood friend of mine who I used to play Atari with lives there and has never been to the Strong Museum... needless to say he's coming along. :D

I really hope that's not the case. I'll probably never be able to see the exhibit again if it is not going to be traveling anymore.

This is the first time they traveled in years...

...and according to the article, they only bought a handful of games...

The article says they bought the 100 or so videogames...

Now the real question is, who is going to keep them running? Didn't Jeff personally do a lot of work to keep the games up?

Not compared to the size of the VT collection...

Yeah... you're right about that. My son and I went to pick up the Arabian we have and didn't realize we were going to the VT warehouse... talk about a shocker when Jeff let us in. :D I'm just upset I didn't bring my camera because it was a sight to see!

Well the eGameRevolution exhibit opened up at The Strong Museum of Play last month and I finally made the trip out to see it. Definitely a must-see for any video game fan - they covered classic arcade, console and (to a lesser extent) PC games, all the way through present day stuff. Took a few photos and a quick video of the classic arcade, here they are:
