Was just testing some boards and plugged in Street Smart. The game loaded to the test screen and then presented with the following: Sprite Error R15 200000. Is this a ROM chip or something else?
Thanks
I'm reviving this thread because I just got the same problem as the OP. I went to R15 under the small board and there are indeed 2 resistors soldered onto a chip. The resistors measured fine....so would the problem be the chip they are soldered to...or is there something else I should look for?

Many times I have seen where other techs. have worked on a board that did NOT get it working. I buy many boards not working and get some luck (good) once in awhile. I find that usuall if something was soldered to chips or socketed chips where there usuall are not, it is something there or close to it. I would look at things with a logic probe or scope (if that is avaiable). Most problems are power supplies and connections, either socket or ribbon, and sometimes a bad trace.
If this doesn't help then I just bumped this for you!
