So finally something popped up in my town, a "Street Fighter Arcade Console". I'm waiting for pics but the seller says "Screen slightly Fuzzy (needs tune up)otherwise she works great" and is asking $200, negotiable. I'm assuming the monitor problem could just be a pot adjustment/cap kit, but who knows. What's the running price, depending on condition of course, for a SF1? Thanks

It could need a flyback also. Its a good price if this is a Dynamo dedicaded SF machine.

If its a crappy conversion then $200 might be too high for some guys.

Thanks. Will update with pics later. Turns out I went to school with the girl that posted the ad and she's selling the game for her fiancee that lives literally 30 seconds down the road haha.

OK guys...what say ye?

The marquee is horrible, but the rest seems pretty solid. I wont comment on the monitor because i have no clue on that. Maybe offer him 150?

yeah the marquee would definitely be replaced...and the bezel seems to be off as well. 150 is what I was thinking.

yuck.... in a joust. What a poor marriage!

Makes me wonder if this was common? My buddy's first arcade game he got was a SF2 CE in a Williams cab too. Looked identical to this, but the correct marquee. Didn't have a top marquee bracket either. To my surprise, the hand placement was quite comfortable. Shitty elbow room though.

I've seen a SF2 in a DK cab once. and yes 2 players with all six buttons and both start buttons on the CP.
Looks like all of the artwork is made of paper.

I've seen SF2 in damn near everything.

I'd say 150 is more than fair. On the plus side, it is Hyper Fighting.

Side note/rant not related to the OP: This is a perfect example of why people can't just be all like, "I have a SF2 HF in a cabinet what's it worth? Please say 500." Pics/condition/what cabinet it is in is pretty vital stuff.

hmm...the more I look at it, the more I don't want it. Thanks for the input guys.
