Could someone help clarify this for me. I'm thinking about making/restoring a Street Fighter II: World Warrior game. I like to use original parts whenever possible, and I was wondering if World Warrior had original marquees and bezels for the 25" Dynamo Cabinets.

Everything I've seen for the WW version was for a 19" setup.

huh. all my street fighters were 25" dynamo.
they obviously made a 25" bezel.

I've never seen a 25" bezel, but it may have been one of those styles where you could cut it to be bigger. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a 25" marquee either, but I think all the marquees were a sticker. Yaggy would know more though since he bought them back in the day.

Not Street Fighter II but...

I really would love to have the Original Street Fighter in this cabinet:

It is awesome with it C shape and 2 huge pneumatic buttons!

I like the art work on the one on the left in this UK flyer better:

Tighe you and me both man you and me both.

For what it's worth, I am as positive as my brain will allow me to be when I say I have seen a 25" version bezel and marquee, a slight part of me thinks that it was a CE though...

I don't know one way or the other, last time I saw a WW in the arcade was a LONG time ago. I am pretty sure Champ came in a 25" Dynamo HS-5.

I have never...EVER...seen or heard of a factory World Warrior. They came in generic 19 inch cabinets. I've also never seen a 25 inch World Warrior kit package (marquee/bezel that would fit a 25 inch machine). This topic is kind of a specialty...I've been trying to get it straight for YEARS.

From CE on it gets a tad complicated. Z-backs, generic Dynamos, Big Blues and different sized kits all come into play then.

Have to agree with the consensus. I've been restoring a World Warrior (found in Joust cab) and only ever seen 19" screen bezels. CE definitely has a 25" bezel variation, but not WW. You could always get the WW bezel artwork and blow it up and have printed custom, but I think that would be your only hope.

The original Street Fighter cab is pretty sweet. :)

As far as WW having 25" artwork, I have a Randy Fromm video where he talks about dynamo cabs and it shows a 25" dynamo with WW in it so I would think some art for a 25" cab was made.

OK this should clear things up....

The original WW kits came in the 19" version ala this...

another shot next to a 25" dynamo...

The first 25" dedicated did indeed come in CE form ala this...

The latter cabinet was the original CPS1 big blue, which then evolved into this...

possibly the sickest cabinets out there IMO, running MVC2 and 3rd strike.

It IS possible however, that some WW's may have had a 25" from, but they would have been arcade business only, as all the other ones in gas stations, grocery stores, etc, were all the 19" version.

As you can probably tell, I'm a street fighter nut.

Sorry for the blurtastic pics, the wife has the proper digital camera.

I'm more of a Golden Age than Fighter guy, but that is a really cool looking cab. Love the shape and color.
Like that Championship Edition the best, with the large marquee and the way the bezel art runs into the control panel. Very nice!

May I present a "dedicated" (about as much as they came) World Warrior 25" cabinet (Dynamo) with "dedicated" bezel...
