well, i finally got my DMD and got the machine going, several things dont work, mainly the sound, when a game starts it wont kick a ball out to be shot by the ball shooter, then after about 30 seconds it shows on the DMD to crush the car, but the right flipper button doesnt work, i got my flipper coils today, bout to solder them in, im also reading pinrepair, just thought id see if anyone had some quick pointers, the sound beeps on power up, the soundboard LED is on but dim, the volume adjusts with the POT but its just static constantly when the game is on.

ok so did some checking around, i might be in the complete wrong department, but heres what i find

on the Auxiliary Power Supply (A5)

at connector P1

actual reading

pin 1 0.06 volts DC
pin 2 75.3 Ohms resistance
pin 3 14.92 volts AC
pin 4 72.4 Ohms resistance
pin 5 11.95 volts DC
pin 6 0.06 volts DC
pin 7 73.8 Ohms resistance
pin 8 14.83 volts AC
pin 9 0.06 volts DC
pin 10 12.03 volts DC

should be

pin 1 SPKR 2
pin 2 ground
pin 3 12.6 VAC
pin 4 ground
pin 5 -12 V reg
pin 6 SPKR 1
pin 7 ground
pin 8 12.6 VAC
pin 9 looks like ground for rca jack?
pin 10 +12 v reg

not real real sure why my readings are off voltage wise, and it seems the resistance to ground is pretty high?

on down the line i checked my voltages coming into my Power Supply (A2)
at connector J1 pins 1,4,5 all are supposed to have +12 V DC but mine have +15.09 V DC. the pins 2 and 3 are grounds showing 55 ohms resistance to ground on back of head. i the went to the other side of the power supply and checked my +5V DC outputs, they are all spot on at +5.03 V DC

i migrated down under the playfield after this to the high voltage section, the rectifier that is for this also is putting out the +15.09 V DC so i am assuming this part A18J1 is bad? the other legs 2 have +10 V AC and the other is ground..... also the +48 V DC output on the rectifier is showing +37 V DC is it common for these rectifiers to go bad?

am i even going in the right direction?

welp im going to bed, ill check this in the morning when i get up, i plan to change the rectifiers in the high voltage section, and install my flipper coils, hopefully that will take care of some of my issues im experiencing, im also going to update my grounds as suggested at Pinrepair.com

well i got my bottom flipper coils in, have changed the rectifiers yet, that will be in a few minutes, but i decided to power the machine up and go to test mode so i could test the coils, i have the machine in tournament mode, so with the coin door open last night without the flipper coils in it would stay on the top selection where you can turn freeplay on or off, wouldnt let me go down the list only selection i could change, now tonight after the coils in same senario except it continually goes down to the next option to change and just keeps looping thru, when i hit the test mode button it goes to the first screen saying test mode, and the directions for the flipper buttons, but thats as far as i can get, any ideas whats going on? i checked my wiring with the schematic, its correct.

well i got the three rectifiers by the transformer changed, yet no change with anything, the 10VAC from the transformer is only 6.5 VAC does this mean my transformer is bad?

well there is some kind of counter that has been installed to the coin door open switch, i disconnected it, and my screen stops scrolling thru options over and over, i believe now that i may have a eprom issue, i was running test mode, everything seems ok, memory test ok, but when i get to solenoid test, both the left and right flippers fire everytime i press a flipper button to change selection, the start game button fires what is displayed, next is switch test, everything there looks good, then next test is display, it says to push the right filpper button to test, when i do it pops up on the screen switch, 82 or 83 right flipper, changes to left flipper if left flipper is pressed, next test is sound test, this test when pushing the right flipper to initiate the test, changes the display, my game eprom on the CPU is missing its sticker exposing the uv erase section, this i know is not good. any suggestions or help? im open to anything at this point
