I just picked up a Street Fighter II: The World Warrior for 250 locally, works great..

My questions are:

Does the control panel graphics look right?
Are these PCS's able to be upgraded to Hyper, CE, Red, Rainbow?

Thank you for your time

You need a champion edition pcb to upgrade to those other versions...world warrior won't do it unfortunately. Still a good deal at $250

Art for that version should look like this:

Your cab appears to be formerly a data East bad dudes or something

Thank you for the information, I will keep the cabinet as-is then..

those were generic control panel overlays back in the day for conversions. the benefit to doing that is you wouldn't be married to one art package; you could just change the game again.

it strikes me as Data East cab as well, but I'm confused as to how Data East did the curved marquee thing, cause yours is flat. I haven't seen one of those in an extremely long time.. probably 1990 when my grandpa dumped our Bad Dudes.

On second glance, it's actually a karnov cab or something data East around that time...the speaker grills are different than a bad dudes or robocop

My other cabinet has the Data East curved top.. So I have 2 Data East cabinets... :)

Great info!!! I knew I would come to the right source of information..
