Just wanted to post a picture of the new cabinet I'm working on. I didn't really care for the original design of the SF cabinet so I decided to go with what I'm calling a "Williams inspired" layout LOL! Anyway, this is the first cabinet that I've had to build from scratch. I have some other pics on photobucket if anyone is interested. I still have a few things to do but, let me know what you think.

Really, you didn't care for the Dynamo HS5 or 3 Koam Z-Back or 3 Koam Big Blue? To each his own I guess. I always hated playing MK or SF2 on Williams cabs, the cabs were narrower due to the 19" monitor which left a lot less real estate on the control panel. In any case, your work looks great.

Thanks guys!

I'm having a friend paint the whole cabinet silver. The the sides I was thinking the SF logo and possibly some of the SF characters.

Don't get me wrong I like some of the other cabinets I just like the Williams look I guess. lol
I agree. The standard cabinet would have been too narrow but, I modified the dimensions to increase the amount of space each player has. Overall width is now 27.5" which is really comfortable. However, you are correct that the 19" monitor will leave a lot of real estate around the monitor but, I am looking at a larger screen and have built the cabinet to allow for a larger one to be installed. But for now I'll probably just run the 19" I have and use a generic bezel until I can find a suitable replacement. :)

I think Big Blue designs blow away the ultracade design.
